Rev. David R. Mucha

The Rev. David R. Mucha is currently serving his second year at Central UMC. He is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and Union Theological Seminary of Virginia where he received his Master of Divinity in 1978. He is a Pastoral Counselor in Training with the AAPC (American Association of Pastoral Counselors) and recently completed a three-year training program at the Virginia Institute of Pastoral Care where he continues under supervision in the Formation Program with a goal of membership certification in the AAPC in 2006. Recent appointments include Trinity:Disputanta on the Petersburg District (1989-1994), Fairview in Lynchburg (1994-1997) and St. Mark’s on the Roanoke District (1997- 2005). Ordained an Elder in 1982, he served earlier appointments in Richmond and Eastern Shore Districts.
